Job Summary:
Technical writers explain complex scientific and technical ideas in simple language that most people can understand.
They write reports and articles on current topics in fields such as computer science and engineering.
A Technical Writer also, works as a liaison between the engineering department and upper level management personel that do not possess the same level of technical knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Write detailed articles explaining scientific and technical ideas in simple cohesive language.
-Research new topic ideas that will be interesting to the select demographic.
-Request feedback from a sample group to see if the writing is understandable and enjoyable.
-Submit articles to professional journals for distribution out into the industry field.
