Job Summary:

An accounting position shares the responsibility with the bookkeeper for Payables and Receivables which includes general ledger coding and inputting invoices into the payable system. Along with writing checks and posting to the journal.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Process refunds, returned checks and bad debt.

-Perform specific journal entries and keep the books up to date.

-Verify customer accounts are correct.

-Proficient in processing invoices and posting to vendor accounts.
