Help Desk Supervisor Job Description


Job Summary:

A Computer Help Desk Supervisor position assists individuals with trouble shooting various computer issues that are preventing the execution of a desired task.Problems that may arise may either be software or hardware specific and knowledge of both interfaces must be in place. Installation of new equipment is also a function of this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Supervise the working staff of the help desk along with managing the technical skill set and making sure that the desk is staffed properly to handle difficult situations.

-Make sure that the right individual is assigned the specific tasks that meet their areas of expertise.

-Oversee the installation of new hardware and software.

-Stay up to date on the latest technical trends and then introduce any beneficial new technology to the organization.
