Job Summary:
A Home Health Aide cares for the elderly, invalid, and injured patients that cannot care for
themselves in the comfort of their own home. This position also serves as an intermediary between the patient
and the patient's family as well as the caring physician.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Administer patient's medication as prescribed by a Doctor.
-Assist patient with moving around the house and rehabilitation exercises.
-Run light errands for the patient; for example, taking the patient to the bank or pharmacy.
-Involves light housekeeping like washing dishes or doing laundry.
-Documenting patients progress on a daily basis and communicate this to a caring physician.
