Job Summary:
Lawyers serve as advocates for clients along with provide advice. A large amount of
their work is researching prior interpretations of legal proceedings and their historical significance.
They also may create legal documents and negotiate out of court settlements. Most lawyers specialize in a specific area of legal proceedings.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Represent clients in court, mediations, and business transactions and other important legal proceedings.
-Maintain close client relationships.
-Research prior proceedings and prepare current case load to present before a judge.
-Oversee the day to day operations of the partner's office.
