Job Summary:
The position of a Physical Therapist is both demanding and challenging. However, is also equally rewarding.
Physical Therapists often work with physicians and various health care professionals to rebuild patient's motor skills,
balance and eye hand coordination. Along with the improvement of the overall physical fitness of patients who have suffered debilitating injuries.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Recommend proper exercise to patients that are in the recovery phase.
-Use massage therapy to help improve muscle flexibility.
-Familiarity with therapeutic equipment such as whirlpools, ultrasonic machines, and infrared and ultrasonic lamps.
-Instruct patients on the use of stationary bicycles, parallel bars, and weights.
-Maintain records of patient's progress.
