Job Summary: The Radiologist operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology along with computer
tomography (CT) scanners to diagnose various diseases and patient ailments. The Radiologist also handles any patient needs as
they are stepped carefully through the scanning procedure. Radiologists work closely with the prescribing doctor to execute the correct scan.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Follow the prescribing doctor's orders exactly for conducting the radiological procedure.
-Create a level of comfort for the patient as the x-ray procedure is conducted.
-Keep precise records of all patient procedures and report accordingly to the prescribing physician.
-Stay current on any breakthrough technology and give presentations to the Hospital Board of Directors regarding new purchases.
