Employee Appreciation Letter

Writing a letter of appreciation is a simple and effective way to recognize an employee for doing a great job. In addition to the letter you may want to also give them a certificate of appreciation or an award with a bonus. You don't want to have a stale office environment that is fear based and only have the negative accentuated.

Employee Appreciation Letter Writing Advice

  • Write a letter of appreciation as soon as possible after you have noticed something commendable in an employee that deserves to be recognized.
  • Make sure you give specific details of why you are recognizing their above expectations performance.
  • If you are including an award or bonus make sure you specifically state what it is for.
